I got an unauthorized charge in my Citibank Visa credit card for US$ 155 from Tourvest Hold Prop Ltd Nairobi about 10 days after leaving Kenya and had never heard of the company before. The only time I used the card was when buying a souvenir in Narok. Already informed Citbank about this.
I made a mistake in my previous comment. After further research I found out that Tourvest Hold Prop Ltd Nairobi is the Kenya Airways in-flight duty free shopping operator and thus the charge in my credit card was a legitimate one. My apology to Tourvest.
I was thinking, and found out is was the tax free perfume I bought for my wife during flight with Kenia Airways.
Bought a sunglass in Ethiopian airlines from Addis ababa to abuja ,Nigeria,this was the last time I used my same credit card.Hopefuly this is the same debit .However ,the airline should have mentioned to me what would be the name of the company.
It's for on-board duty free shopping while flying. I initially thought this was suspicious but then remembered the transaction. The purchase was made 4 days back but the debit happened only today.
Ooh if it is associated with on flight duty free charges then that is fine with me as i used my card for that purpose while on board. apology for not knowing and i voted for suspicious charge
