This was helpful. But weird. What the heck does Cirro Energy have to do with US retailers?? Why wouldn’t Cirro Energy simply label their charge as just that - Cirro Energy?? Stupid!!!

This also looks like Southwest Power and Light sold their electric company to US Retailers.

I have disputed this charge on my credit card. This company is in TX and I live in Oregon. There is no reason it should be on my credit card.

I live in MT. this company is in TX. Charge to my credit card $424.92. I have disputed this charge. I checked, the company does not do business in MT. Interesting - we were in Oregon recently.

An October 4the charge from U.S. Retailers appeared on my bank account, meaning the money (over $500) is actually gone! The entry was " U.S. RETAILERS 855-600-3859 TX 0437". We do not use this company.

I freaked out today when I got a charge for $96.11 from U.S. Retailers. The previous comments suggested it could be my new electrical utility company, Discount Power, and that was it. Thanks to the previous commenters for your help

Agree it is dumb that my electric company bills as "U.S. RETAILERS". It's an autopay for Discount Power out of Texas. Thanks to previous commenters for the help.

I was charged $10 dollars from US Retails, and I just joined discount power, but the strange thing is that neither of the two bills are for that amount, I'm really upset.

Hello Everyone, I found out that my credit card has been getting charged from a "U.S. Retailers 855-600-3859 TX" on a monthly basis. These charges have been taking place from January 14, 2024 to July 10, 2024. The range of these charges was anywhere between $78 to $105 and some change. I found all of this out today (July 14, 2024). I called my bank immediately and disputed these charges. I have no idea what these charges were for as the charges do not match up with any of my usual monthly bills. US Retailers claims to be an electric company of some kind, but I know exactly who my electricity provider is and how much I pay them monthly because I pay that bill manually through their portal and have identified that charge on my statements, so know for a fact that it cannot be an electricity bill. Needless to say, I am disappointed in myself for not noticing this much sooner. Be careful and make sure to keep an eye on your credit card charges. I am thankful to all recent commenters for having this discussion thread posted online because I thought I was going crazy for finding these charges suspicious. I hope my experience has been able to provide further clarity. Now I have to inform my friends and family.

This company charge on my card matches the same total as my Discount Energy bill that I have added my card to for payment.
